FAQs
When should I change the resin?
When the TDS reading from the DI tank reaches 20ppm or higher.
How long does the resin last?
With a water supply around 100ppm (e.g. Sydney, Melbourne), expect about 26 hours of cleaning. In high TDS areas (e.g. WA, SA, NT), resin depletes faster — we recommend using an RO System to extend lifespan and cut costs.
How much resin do I need to fill the tank?
You'll need 11.5L of Winclean Resin to completely fill the tank.
When should I replace the Carbon filter?
As a general rule, change the 10" Sediment Filter & 10" Carbon Filter every second time you replace the resin.
How do I change the resin?
