Operation 

• Supply water is first filtered through the 10in Sediment and Carbon pre-filters
• The water is then filtered through the 40in RO membrane to remove 95%+ of the TDS from the water
• The water is finally filtered down to 0 TDS with the 6L DI Tank
• The optimal running rate for the pump is between 100-110 PSI.

FAQ's

How often do I need to replace the membrane?

• You can expect 2+ years of use from the RO Membrane with proper use and maintenance.

When do I need to replace the resin?

• When the water reads higher than 20ppm coming from the DI tank 

How often do I need to replace the Sediment and Carbon pre-filters? 

• Regularly inspect the filters - They will turn completely brown and need replacing, this will vary with differing water sources

What hoses can I use with the X-ION Lite RO?

• We recommend using hoses with an ID of 8mm or larger to maximize flow to the pole tube - Excessively long or small diameter hoses can dramatically affect the flow and pressure 

Can I lay this RO down in my vehicle?

• Yes, you can! We recommend blocking off all inlets and outlets so water does not leak out in your vehicle.

Can I operate this RO with it lying down on the ground?

• We do not recommend operating this unit while it is lying down

Do I have to use the pump if I have good water pressure?

• No, you dont. If you have good enough water pressure while the RO only uses water pressure, you can use it without the pump and battery. Use the pump and battery when you need more pressure or are running two poles.
