Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary benefit of a polythermal thermoplastic hose over standard rubber hose for drain jetting?
Polythermal thermoplastic hoses have an ultra-smooth outer jacket that creates significantly less friction than rubber, allowing the hose to slide around sharp pipe bends and down sewer lines much more easily.
What is the maximum pressure rating for the 1/4" ViperFlex Polythermal Hose?
The ViperFlex 1/4" Polythermal Hose Assembly is rated for high-pressure operation up to 5075 PSI (350 BAR).
Can this jetter hose be used with hot water pressure washers?
Yes. The hose is rated to safely handle hot water fluid temperatures up to 85°C.
What tools or nozzles connect best to a 1/4" jetter hose?
A 1/4" hose is the industry standard for navigating residential drains, waste traps, and gully lines when paired with 1/4" drain nozzles (such as the Negotiator nozzle assembly) or whip lines.
