X-ION MAX RO - Pure Water System

Operation

• Water is first filtered through a 5 Micro Sediment filter then a 0.5 Micron Chloramine Reduction Filter
• Twin 107psi Shurflo 12volt pumps push the water through the Reverse Osmosis Membranes
• The 2x 40" Reverse Osmosis Membranes remove 95%+ of the TDS from the water
• Final filtration takes place in the 2L De-ionizing canister, which brings the total TDS down to 0

• Sturdy Anderson Plug to connect a 12v Power source  - Lithium Power Pack Available Separately
• Dual TDS Meter to Monitor Supply TDS and Post-RO Filtration TDS
• Bypass Valve to use RO-filtered water only, in cases where RO & DI is not needed
• The X-ION MAX can be used without the pumps running, with decent water pressure from the tap
• Di Canister comes pre-filled with DI resin
• All filters are easily replaceable by the user

How often do I need to replace the membrane?

• With proper use and maintenance, you can expect 2+ years of use from the RO Membrane.

When do I need to replace the resin?

• When the water reads higher than 20ppm coming from the DI tank 

How often do I need to replace the Sediment and Chloramine Reduction Carbon pre-filters? 

• Regularly inspect the filters - They will turn completely brown and need replacing, this will vary with differing water sources

What hoses can I use with the X-ION Max RO?

• We recommend using hoses with an Inner Diameter (ID) of 8mm or larger to maximize flow to the pole tube - Excessively long or small diameter hoses can dramatically affect the flow and pressure
