Compact and Reliable RO Filtration for Water-Fed Window Cleaning

The X-ION Lite is a durable and cost-effective reverse osmosis system, ideal for single-operator water-fed pole setups—especially in high TDS areas such as Western and South Australia. With its straightforward design, it offers consistent performance and is easy to transport and use on the job.

How It Works

  1. Pre-Filtration – Tap water is first filtered through a 10" sediment filter and a 10" carbon block filter.

  2. RO Membrane – The water then passes through a 40" reverse osmosis membrane, removing over 95% of total dissolved solids (TDS).

  3. DI Polishing – Final filtration is completed with a 6L DI tank, bringing the water down to 0 TDS.

  4. See the X-ION Lite RO Video - HERE

Key Features

  • Pre-filled 6L DI tank with high-quality deionising resin

  • Quick-disconnect design allows the DI tank to be used independently

  • Option to disconnect DI tank and use RO-only water when ultra-pure water is not required

  • Safe for transport lying down when inlets and outlets are sealed

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the RO membrane last?
With proper maintenance, the RO membrane should last 2 years or more.

When should I replace the DI resin?
Replace the resin when the output water from the DI tank exceeds 20 ppm.

How often should I change the sediment and carbon filters?
Inspect regularly. When the filters turn completely brown, they should be replaced. Filter life varies depending on your local water quality.

What hose size should I use?
Use hoses with an internal diameter of 8mm or larger. Small diameter or excessively long hoses can restrict water flow and reduce performance.

Can the system be laid down in a vehicle?
Yes, for transport, but ensure all ports are sealed to avoid leaks.

Can I operate the system while it is lying down?
No, the system must be in an upright position during use.
