Frequently Asked Questions
What is the benefit of having a female swivel fitting on a jetting hose?
A female swivel fitting prevents the hose from twisting, kinking, or binding as it is fed into or wound off a hose reel, making connection to nozzles and spray guns fast and stress-free.
What is the maximum working pressure of this yellow jetting hose?
This 60-meter 1/4" jetting hose is rated for high-pressure drain jetting applications up to 5,000 PSI.
Why use a 1/4" diameter hose for drain cleaning instead of a larger hose?
A 1/4" hose offers the perfect balance of flexibility and water flow, allowing it to navigate tight gully traps, 50mm to 100mm pipe bends, and sharp turns that larger hoses cannot pass through.
Does the smooth yellow cover help with drain jetting?
Yes. The slick, low-friction thermoplastic cover drastically reduces drag against pipe walls, allowing the nozzle's rear thrust jets to pull the hose deeper into long drainage runs.
